Contributes to the CCC team effort by answering consumer inquiries and resolving consumer concerns, thereby enhancing consumer relationships.   This positions purpose is to prevent product liability claims or other challenges, win back consumers who may be dissatisfied, and build and strengthen consumer loyalty to HBI products and brands. 


  • Answer inbound telephone calls and emails directly from the consumer, requiring extensive product knowledge of all catalog, website and retail products.  
  • Solve customer complaints involving order delivery, billing, shipping method, and quality of merchandise.  
  • Provide information to consumers regarding retail locations of HBI products.
  • Using various computer tools, verify information about consumers such as mailing address and/or credit card information. 
  • Propose solutions to consumers such as replacements, credits or refunds, and follow through on consumer’s request to the consumer’s satisfaction. 
  • Support HBI outlet stores by expediting merchandise returns between stores and catalog, direct consumers to store locations as appropriate, perform data entry on various promotions or surveys using data provided by stores and responding to stores’ requests regarding consumer services. 
  • Probe consumer contacts for potential product defects or issues and enters information into appropriate computer system.
  • Follow up with consumers who respond to questionnaires and indicate potential areas of dissatisfaction.
  • Use the consumer Contact Management System or other appropriate system for retail consumer correspondence.
  • Handle issues relating to the implantation of sales tax collection and credit card fraud prevention.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned. 


One (1) year minimum consumer service experience.  Ability to multi-task, and must be able to type 35wpm. Must have the equivalent of high school diploma or GED. Hours for this position will be Mon-Thur 11am - 7pm, Saturday 8am-4pm.
