Overview

The primary responsibility of the Retail Team Lead is responsible for ensuring that proper store procedures and policies are followed when store management is not on duty or unavailable on the floor.  The Floor Supervisor will supervise all employees and oversee sales, merchandising, customer service and all operational functions in the absence of store management.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with training and development of new and existing employees.
  • Supervise employees to complete daily tasks (store cleaning, merchandising, etc) and achieve planned goals.
  • Provide customer service by greeting and assisting customers, and when management is not present respond to customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Remain current on all company policies and ensures that all policies, standards and procedures are maintained and followed in a consistent manner.
  • Assign employees to specific duties on daily task list.
  • Completes position specific training plan, and engages in continuous development utilizing a developmental plan.
  • Upholds GTM’s Visions, Mission, and Values by “Making it Personal” during every interaction and process with all departments and team members.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience Required: 

  • High School diploma required.
  • At least 2 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision, highly self-motivated, and can motivate others.
  • Resourceful and well organized, works well under pressure, able to multi-task.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
